Low pressure service port.

I want to check and see if I am low on freon because my a/c isn't working right now. It says to put the gauge on the low side service port inbetween the compressor and the evaporator. Where is this? I have been looking everywhere and can't find the port.

I have a 3.8L V6 1996 Camaro.

i hope someone else has a better idea, because i am not farmiliar with the 3.8L V6 1996 Camaro. Having said that, there should be both a high and low side port. If memory serves me correctly, you can't connect a pressure tester to the high side, because that fitting is different from the one on the low side. Follow the line going between the compressor and the evaporator and you will find a T (might be capped), and this should be the low side port.

p.s. I think that the car needs to be running with the A/C turned on to get an accurate reading.
