Re: My Racing Career?

I wish I could get into carting. Unfortunately I have too many other things vying for my money.

it's WAY more expensive here. I would have to sign up for a long weekend thing that costs ~$300US. If I wanted to buy a cart of my own it would be $4k-6k and then whatever for trackdays.

This is, of course, for the pro carting stuff. Crappier recreational carting tracks suck (slow carts that don't handle and small tracks) but are a lot cheaper.

Are there any racing/car clubs there in Pakistan? Theres a club here in America called SCCA (Sports Car Club of America). They hold amateur racing events regularly. Clubs/Events are a good way to get your name out there.

Re: My Racing Career?

NICE! i luv karting and i am actually about to go into rotax as a beginner thing, then as i progress i get into 125cc shifter karts, i dunno about your tracks but the local track here always has scouts looking to pick up the next best racer for their race car, so here its just kind of get lucky, and impress them if they're here.

Re: My Racing Career?

just keep drivin, kid. Betcha pros might have a few circuits, but I don't know about formula style racing outside of the US. Maybe Europe... Try a locale change.
