fuel injector??

hi, i have a 92 s10 with the 700 tbi throttle body and i can't get the motor to start. i loosened the gas connector at the inlet and turned the ignition on and i got plenty of gas coming out of the line, and i removed one of the spark plugs, put it to ground and i got spark. could it be the fuel injector causing the problem. there seems to be alot of gas dumping into the throttle body when i try to start it. thanks in advance

Re: fuel injector??

funny you should mention that, because i did pull the plugs and 3 out of the 4 were fouled up. it's always been hard to start but once it started it ran fine. i also tried what you said already with no results. i took the injector out and cleaned it the best i could, but it didn't do any good. im thinking it's the fuel injector or pressure regulator
