Cool Damn!!! In a good way

This sucks but also good . Ok I had to take my whole exhaust system off because my mom had to borrow my car for two weeks because she sold her 2001 Prelude. The good part is I get like 1500-2 grand for doing this and I get to help her find a new car and I'm thinking about the G35. The reason she can't take the SL is because she doesn't drive stick so the Base is fine. The night I took my car out for testing with the stock exhaust I ran into alittle white 97-98 3000GT. The car was nice but mine looked better and we were at a stop light so I looked at him and he revv me and we both laugh so when the light was about to turn green I here him slowing revving it so when it does turn green I stomp on the pedal and I take off pretty quick but he pealed out and I had the lead about a tire and a half and I see his GT creep up, I'm doin about 55 he shifted to second or third but from that point on I knew I won and I did.

So after the race me and him are doin about 35-40 talking to each other and I find out that hes stick and it's a base too. So now I'm wondering are the Base Atx faster then the Mtx. But anyways it was fun and my car felt lighter without the exhuast system.

Oh yeah can't wait to get my money

Nice kill, but I'm sure the MTX is faster. Perhaps his wasn't running completely up to spec or you were the better driver...who knows...

Your 1996 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4 is the 92nd out of the 315 that were made that year. Only 21 of which are exactly identical.

Re: Damn!!! In a good way

not sure about base atx being faster than an mtx, sounds like one of those "once in a blue moon" stories. I do however believe that a base atx dohc model can take a base mtx sohc... Stealthee will however tell you differently and with good reason, he's probably a pretty good driver.
