Question cat converter '92 mazda b2200

anyone know (if the first cat converter is hollowed out and there is staight pipes the rest of the way back and the o2 sensor is cut off why the cat is glowing red? Is it supposed to be mounted to the exhaust manifold? And what size gasket does it take? Please help- thanks!

No sure what your question was but it sounds like your exhaust is glowing red?

Exhaust glows red for only one reason ~ HEAT

wasn't finished lol ~

if you have excessive heat in your exhaust look for vacuum leaks.
