BMW break-in device going around??

Hello,
Is there any theft devices that open powerwindow without breaking the window??
Someone was able to open a passenger side of window when a car was locked and went through things in compartment, and took a cd in a cd player. I am prerry sure that I didn't leave the window open... When I saw the open window, I thought that some smashed the window, but the window was down, and everything else was locked except a gas tank door. Do you have any idea how did that happen??

Are you sure you didn't leave it down?? Judging by what was messed with, it sounds like someone reached into the open window and pilfered through only what they could reach.

It may be possible to force the window down using a windshield installer's suction cup.
