Question transmission

where do i find the dipstick for the fluid level in a 2001 Grand Am with a 2.4 Liter engine.

Which fluid? Engine oil is between the the firewall and engine and has yellow coloured pull loop. Transmission has no dipstick, it's dumb, I know.

From what I know and understand GM quit putting tranny dipsticks in because people were overfilling their trannys. My moms 2004 alero does not have one either.
