94 Delta 88 /Electrical Problem Found

My mother in-laws delta 88 had a problem with the dome light circuit losing it's ground. When the dome light didn't come on the engine would crank but not start.If I turned the dome lights on at the dimmer switch the engine would start but if I shut the door the engine would die.
After further checks I found a connector under the carpet between the front of the drivers seat an the kick panel the holds the hood release.
This black connector is a dead end style connector.
It has 6 wires going into it with female connectors in the connector block. When I would move this connector ,I would lose the grounds for the dome lights,power door locks, power seat controls & either the fuel pump or the vats module.After cleaning the grounding blades the car runs great.(Moms happy)
I don't know I anyone has ever seen this problem before but I thought I'd post it anyway.
