Re: oil preesure

Nope. Normal oil pressure @ operating temp is about 60 PSI. Check oil level and condition first and work from there. You might want to take a multimeter to the oil pressure sender to check the accuracy of your gauge too. My 93 manual is showing 17 ohms at 0 PSI and 84 ohms at 120 PSI. Yours might be somewhat different though.

Re: oil preesure

Try an oil change and use slightly thicker oil.
The manual calls for 5w30 but will work fine with 10w30 or 10w40, unless its the dead of winter.

The thicker oil will boost pressure a bit.

Re: oil preesure

lol, well mine does the same thing, when I drive it, it just randomly shoots up and than back down again, I'm pretty sure my gauge or sensor is faulty, but yours might be too.
