Rear axle Ratio
whats the better gear axle ratio or whats a good ratio
the ratio in my rear axle is 2.56 what does this mean ????

Good for what?
2.56s are good for gas mileage. Suck for acceleration The higher the number the worse for mileage and better for acceleration. 2.56 means the driveshaft rotates 2.56 times to 1 time for the axle.
