Re: W.I.P:Project Spoon civic

i used hasegawa tires on revell rims to copy the spoon look..i already cut off 50% of the fenders width..

the revell tires wont look good on revell rims for this project..

Re: W.I.P:Project Spoon civic

looking good so far! I'm currently doing this project as well. Fujimi makes perfect spoon rims! I'd get those for the project. For the complete spoon look, you can create the duckbill rear spoiler as well, really easy to create.

Re: W.I.P:Project Spoon civic

i've made a spoon wing before with just putty. you gotta build a few layers up though. it would be easier with styrene.

Re: W.I.P:Project Spoon civic

Nice start I think the lip should be a bit smaller though, just a taddd bit! Like really lightly using a file to sand it down.

Re: W.I.P:Project Spoon civic

not to hijack your thread but here's a pic of my spoon eg in the works

here is a close up of the duckbill spoiler that I made.

its really quite simple, I just glued a thin strip of plastic at an angle and then putty it up ot match the slope. HTH! I like your lip spoiler, very clean
