91 tons of problems PLEASE HELP!

When I posted that title I TRUELY feel like its a 91 tons worth of problems.

I have a friend who bought a total lemon passat. Windshield wipers don't work, needs exhaust work, starts VERY ruff and the stereo doesn't work.
If anyone has a manual pictures of the windsheild wipers or wiring diagram for the stereo I would appreciate it. She bought an aftermarket stereo and her friend cut a couple wires to try to install it and left her hanging. I found power, and ground, the problem is, it looks like I'm a short a connector to have all the speaker wires. I really don't want to have to re-run wires (and potentially find out the speakers are bad). Thanks for any help that anyone can offer.
