My cavalier is making a strange noise whenever I go in reverse and turn the wheel slightly. It is sort of a scrapping, squeaking noise. It sounds like something is scrapping together. I have no clue what it could be. I have tried putting power steering fluid in it bc it was low but it hasnt made a difference. If anyone has any ideas of what i could do or what it could be I would be soo greatful. Thanks.

Re: Cavalier making a strange noise
You may have air or a restriction in your power steering. Also, make sure it's the right fluid yer adding.

Re: Cavalier making a strange noise
Is it a clunk sort of noise coming from the wheel-area? If so, you may well have blown CV joints or something else in the steering assembly is blown.
