It's the motor mounts, right?

I just bought my wife a 97 convertible. Everything is in good shape, but I noticed that when she shifts into gear, the engine twists so that the rear of the engine (well, side furtherest from the grill anyway) raises a good 1-2 inches. It's a very steady, slow rise and the engine doesn't vibrate while idling or anything. When she shifts out of gear, the engine slowly returns to position. All my experience with busted mounts is that the engine shakes while idling and when put in gear the engine jumps really fast to the raised position and causes a clunk, slam or whatever you want to call it and then the same thing when shifting out of gear.

Surely these Sebrings don't have that much play in the drive train? I looked up a replacement MM at O'Reilly and it just calls for 1 per vehicle. Is that correct? I've replaced MMs before so I know what I'm in for. Any gothcas on these cars to look out for?

Thanks

Scott
