1999 323i Gear Shift Kinda Tight/Rigid from P to R

Hey guys -

Car seems to shift pretty rough from P to R, although I think its kinda tight to all the gears. Doesn't slidge gently to R, and the car really jolts when I shift to R.

When I started noticing the issue, had the dealer check it out, said the trans and engine were both fine, charged me 190 to check them out.

Still, doesn't seem right. Any ideas what it could be?

Make sure to always, always use your parking break before shifting in to Park.
You want to put the stress on the parking break and not the transmission park pin.
I stop my car, put it Neutral, apply the E-Brake, then put it into Park.
