97 TC: Hesitation, And Loss of Power at Speed

Hi,
My car is a 1997 TC Cartier, 90K miles.

Problems: 1) Hesitation on throttle opening, as in starting from a stop, or accelerating from one speed to another.

2) Loss of power at freeway speeds. Car drives well, then all of a sudden power begins to fade, speed slows, and drifts to 20-30 MPH, then just as suddenly power returns. May happen several times/hour, or only once in a 400 mile trip. No overheating, no noise, no odor. Replaced fuel filter but no change. What is going on?!
