Instrument Panel Blowing with Brake!!!!
I have a 1997 Blazer LT with about 140,000 on it. My Instrument panel fuse will blow when the brake is applied but only after I have been driving for about 4 minutes. I have checked the Alternator (good), replaced the battery, Brake lights are good, Disconnected the ABS and it still blew, checked the printed circuit in the dash, checked the wires at the brake switch and everywhere else ... Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks

my guess a bad wire that makes contact when brakes hit

I would think that too but it happens at only after it is warmed up and been driven for about 4 minutes. I think if it was a bad wire grounding out it wouldn't matter what the temperature. unless the wire heating up alows it to flex and ground out. I don't know...
