'72 GTO Finished

Think "Overhaulin'"... While it did take me over a week, it was a pretty quick build, or rebuild...
This is what I started with, a model I originally built when I was about 13... - Mark

Re: '72 GTO Finished

WOW. nice change. paint is a tad over the top for my taste. but overall great build. was there much in the way of interior or engine detail?

The kit engine and interior were old and pretty weak by todays standards, so I made it a curbside, I did do some interior work, but it's more exterior flash and stance...
The paint is all Tamiya TS colors...
Dark Mica Blue, Brilliant Blue, Brilliant Orange and Bright Orange, (for the fade) ... - Mark

Nice restification!

Can you repost smaller images so we can see the model w/o having to scroll back and forth?

Sorry about the size, I saved them as smaller images so they wouldn't be so small on the screen, I guess I went too far this time... - Mark

awesome build man, that paint is fantastic, it's kinda a throw back to the paint styles of the late 80's early 90's.........................*Ryan*

Nice transformation. Even the 'before' model looks pretty cool for a beater. So was the dusty look intentional or did you just keep it in your crawlspace for a few years?
