b16a idle help?? plug??
i have a jdm b16 motor and the other day i was driving and everytime i had the clutch in it would rev up and down up and down, then i let it cool down and when i started it back up it constanly stays at about 2k idle. i looked to see if i could find anything wrong and right behind the intake manifold there is a white plug that is disconnected , the plugs is circular and has two holes for two prong connectors to be connected anyone know that what plug is and if thats what is causing it to idle so high, thanks for the help

what colors are the two wires on the plug?

one wire is a redish orangish color and the other is black with a yellow stripe on it....

thats a wire for the tandem valve control solenoid. you dont have one on a b16a. its because that harness was originally for a DPFI engine.
