Re: mpg

How fast. We have a 2003 with a 3.3L flex fuel.
On the highway w/ 94 oct we are getting no better then 21.9 and no less on highway then 21.1.
In the city 18 i think.
What oct of fuel are you using? What engine do you have? Need more info to help you.

Your van is still under warranty. Take it back to the dealer and let them fix it.

What kind of mileage are we talking about? How much oil are you putting in it after oil change? On my 2003, it said 5 quarts, but that is 1/2 qt too much. It actually only takes 4.5 qts and only use 5W-30 or lighter. I was getting 15 mpg after my first oil change and i took it to the dealer and they could not find anything wrong with it. I then checked my oil and it looked overfilled and i drained it and added 4.5 and my mileage went back up.

2001 caravan 3.3. 17.5 normal driving. Installed a tornado and went up to 22 mpg! I also tried the tornado on my ford explorer and I actually lost 2 mpg. Go figure.

I have a 2005 DGC with a 3.8 and the wife has a 2004 Honda Civic and both say to use 5W20 oil. And we live in desert hot Arizona.
