Yeah, this is a dumb question but it's on my mind so...
I have a 1991 3000GT SL and when I push the little button on the digital temp display thing, the little snowflake appears... but no cold air comes out. I've tried turning the temperature all the way down without the snowflake on and it doesn't blow cold air at all and it doesn't make a difference if the A/C is engaged or not.How would I go about solving this? Need a new A/C fan and/or motor for it? A/C need to be refilled (recharged)? Dumb question is over.

Re: Dumb A/C question!
Make sure your not puilling air in from outside. Easy mistake to make and not to hard to miss.

So make sure the little arrow is not pointing towards the little dude (he has a nose) but instead the arrow at his feet pointing away?
Hrmm... I can't remember if I switched it between bringing in air and recirculation. I thought I did. Oh well. If this doesn't solve it, any other ideas? |

Yeah, made sure I wasn't pulling in air from the outside but the A/C doesn't work still. Pushed every little thing and tried different things but no cold air. Turned it down to 65 but it still felt warm. How could I fix this?

Re: Dumb A/C question!
i have had the same problem for a year. i figured at first I just needed more coolant, but this saturday I'm doing my 60k so hopefully with a new a/c belt that will solve it. we will see.
