I noticed that you have on there that it fits 2.2 and 2.4L cavys and that cai is not going to fit both engines.

Re: FOR SALE: RK Sport Cold Air Intake

You think the OHV/Ecotec difference is bad? The damned throttle body is on the OTHER SIDE of the motor in a 2.4. Gotta love that swapped intake/exhuast setup from GM...

I am going to be doing some mods to my car soon and am starting with CAI. How does the aforementioned part perform? Anyone know from experience?? Do you notice a difference in acceleration or fuel economy? Should I get this or go for an AEM or Weapon-R?

Re: FOR SALE: RK Sport Cold Air Intake

i dont really see the difference , i know some are built different quality wise but they cant be THAT different , and they should all do relativily the same job the same way.

This CAI is completely different from other Warm Air Intakes. This gets rid of the Airbox and relocates the filter so that it pulls in Cold Air from behind the headlight. Look at the instructions if you don't understand what I am saying.

It does not connect to the Throttle Body, hence the reason it works for both motors.

All of my Model information comes directly from RK Sport.

You do make a good point. But then again we are all bombarded with advertising/marketing BS. AEM claims they can outperform any other Air Intake on the Market. Then you have Weapon-R that rated best in a comparison blah blah blah etc..., so it makes it really hard to choose. I want the one that will perform the best, but in the end you are right- They all do the same thing. One thing I am certain of is that I do not want to spend $300 for a pipe with a filter on the end! I want something affordable!

Re: FOR SALE: RK Sport Cold Air Intake

I ended up buying an RDFABS Cold Air Conversion, works good and looks great, all for $185.

Re: FOR SALE: RK Sport Cold Air Intake

I don't think APC makes any cold air intakes. Only Warm air intakes, meaning that the air comes from within the engine bay.

I liked the look of the RDFABS kit a little better. A little more Bling factor, I guess. The RK unit looks more like stock. I never installed the RK Kit, so I am not sure of the performance difference between the two.
