Unhappy 90 olds regency window

the driver side window of my regency will not move. Its about an inch maybe 2 open. I cant pull it up with my hands and the up down switch does absolutely nothing, the guy who owned it before me said he had the same problem at one time in the past and took it to a dealership and they fixed but he has no idea whats wrong with it. There's a battey meter on the dash and it moves when i go to put any of the other windows up or down, but doesnt move when i push the drivers side up or down. does anyone have any ideas or possible solutions? If anyone knows how to remove the door panel that would help to, i cant find the screws or whatever holds the dam thing on.

More than likely the switch is bad. The drivers window switch is used about 90% more than the rest so it gets the most wear. It is possible the window motor went out but they usually slow way down and dont generally just fail one day.
The door panel is easy to remove. Take all the screws out of the handle and armrest. Unscrew the stem from the vertical lock rod. Then pry the door panel off gently from the bottom with some flat ended tool, a screwdriver if you have to. The panel is held on by small push clips that push into a hole in the door. Some may break but most will be reusable. They will be 6-10" apart. When they are free, lift the whole panel an inch or two off the window channel and snake it off the inside door handle. You'll have some wires to disconnect if you want the panel completely out of the way.
