Blower motor problem

95 Eagle Vision ESi 3.3L

Hi,

Every once in a while, I'll be driving and all of a sudden, hot air starts coming out of the vents as I hear the sound of the blower motor spinning. So I attempt to turn off the heat using the electronic panel, but it seems like it's shorted out because there's no display. None of the buttons do anything, and they didn't beep (they usually beep when you press them). The next time I start the car (after it cools), the heater panel works and everything is normal. But it repeatedly does this, and I can't bare the heat in the summer :S.

Thanks for your time,
IK

Re: Blower motor problem

Just if anybody on these forums wants to know (reference): Chrysler's automatic temperature control is known to fail when it gets old on these cars. Apprantly I have to get a new one. Anybody has one to sell or know of a cheap place to buy one. I was quoted $215 for a used one ( pffft, windows down for the summer wont kill me.)
