hey everyone!
Hey all! I am new here, and have a few questions..
My birthday is the 30th, and memorial day, and my dad got me an early birthday present of a 1999 aurora (picture below) At first i didnt like it, but i took it out for a drive and love the power and feel of it. I want to tint the windows and put my subs and everythign from my old vehicle into it and MAYBE get some rims.. anyways, I was wondering where the govenor is placed on this car and how big of rims you can put on it without making any modifications? Thanks everyone, you'll see more of me! Tim

Re: hey everyone!
im sure you can roll with 20's and the governor well i wouldn't worry about it cause its going to take alot to get it off, one if you can find a dealer to do it and two it will most likely cost you. How many miles do you have on your aurora?

Re: hey everyone!
To "get the govenor removed" you would need a reflashed PCM with no speed limiter programmed in. This would run you anywhere from 150 to 400 dollars. I'm not sure who makes PCM's for your guys' cars, but I'm sure you'd find one if you searched around.
