Re: SBC Casting #3932388

"At least one Camaro was built it September 1969 with this block. Other cars could have received this rare block, but it is unknown which or why. Most #3932388 blocks are dated from September to December 1968"

cool, thanks a lot, didnt know it was rare. I was told that It was from a 1969 corvette but i have no way of knowing for sure, would probably be worth more of it still was in that vette

thanks again

edit: where would the date code be?

"3927186 68-72 1.94/1.50
& 2.02/1.6 290-370 64 CC Chambers
has bolt holes
These are the 'powerpack' heads"

I am not that knowledgable about cylinder heads are these good valve sizes

Don't mean to hijack the thread, but I also have some "powerpack heads" and was wondering how they flowed. My heads have hardened vlave seats for unleaded fuel, and I have one of them port-matched and polished. Would this head flow well and be able to make decent power? My buddy has an '86 Monte SS with a 305 and Edelbrock carb. Would these heads be a nice addition to his motor, or would there not be much change? Sorry, but I have been looking into info on these heads for a while now. Thanks.
