Cassie vs the Type S

I've been laying off the gas as of recently, being with the fact that I haven't gotten a paycheck yet, and I really cant afford to go through two tanks of gas a week. However, tonight, I was feeling lucky, and decided to take the scenic route home from SB. After a few laps, I was thinking, why am I wasting my time and gas, especially since I nearly owned some pedestrians becuase, wearing dark clothing, they decided to run across the "highway" I was on.

However, just as I'm about to turn in, I see a blue RSX just up ahead. I speed up, and kinda pace it behind its right rear fender (Ford Probe ketp me from pacing directly), and I see a girl in the RSX look back. I also see the Type S badge, and think, well, this isn't gonna be pretty, but why not. He guns it, and I of course take off after him.

We line up at a light, and he seems to be a pretty cool guy. We talk a bit, then he asks if I wanna run. I say sure, and drop it down to first, and start watching the light. Light goes green, and we both take off. Cassie holds pretty good, and I'm getting good shifts, puting me about a nose ahead till 75. By 80, he was right next to me, and by 90, he had about a nose and a half on me. We take it up to 100, and hes holding me back at about a door. I let off, and flash the high beams to signal his kill.

We both pull into an empty parking lot, and, *gasp* hes not an asshole. We actually talk a bit, all he has is an axle back, and hes thinking about getting the full thing. We talk about our cars, cars we wanna get, and his girlfriend (whose a straight up hotty) says my car was pretty. He tells me hes having a party tommorow, its pretty near by, and asks if I wanna go, so hopefully, I'll have some more stories for tommorow night. Anyways, it was a death, yes, but I did alot better that I thought I would, given the car I was racing. Very cool for me.

Cliff notes:
Look at the story...

Re: Cassie vs the Type S

You kept up pretty good. The type s is pretty fast and they have pretty good top end. Ive raced a couple and can win in an 1/8th mile but they kill me on the top end. Try to take him out again and you might be able to get him if he doesnt shift as good. Good Luck

Re: Cassie vs the Type S

Vip09 if its stock you will be able to take him. your celica will run like a mofo. You have some great times for your car only being stock. Are you going to put more mods on your car soon.

Re: Cassie vs the Type S

Maybe...when I raced you (not making excuses), I got off the line pretty shity, and spent most of the time trying to play catch up. Next time, who knows, might be a bit closer...maybe the other way around if this summer goes as planned...hehehe
