changed top hose/hole in it since then.....

Got a new radiator hose (top) installed. Everymorning radiator needs coolent, temp shows hot on gage but no overheating, no steam etc.
Now stalling, have to fill everymorning???thermostat you think, not sure where to start now, never had problems until put on new top hose. any ideas....car shopping now.............had system checked for leaks with dye no leaks seen anywhere. however, still dry everymorning, overheats on gage, now stalls. My car ran great until got the hose replaced...any ideas???

If it was my car, the first thing I'd try id pull the rad cap off when it's cool. Start it and let it warm up. See if Tstat is opening when warm.
Water has to go someplace. Check oil, see if you have a blown head gasket. If it's not leaking out, it's still in motor.

Nothing worse than a car that has an appetite for antifreeze. I agree with KustomKid 54, its got to be going someplace. Good luck!
