Hi Fellas - I have a 2001 Durango and the cruise doesn't work. It was working fine then on a long trip it stopped working, after trying to reset it a few times it worked again for a 1/2 hour or so and then it stopped working again. It hasn't worked since. When I turn the car on the cruise control indicator on the dash momentarily lights up so I know the cruise indicator works. When I am driving and press the cruise on button nothing happens. I have tried setting the cruise even though the cruise indicator light doesn't come on, but nothing happens. It led me to believe it was a wiring issue. I removed the air bag and made sure the wires were plugged into the cruise control switches on the steering wheel and made sure they were plugged into the clock spring. On the clock spring, the wire for the air bag connects to the same "plug" as the wires for the cruise, which all plug into the clock spring. The horn wires connect a different "plug", which plugs into the clock spring. The horn works. Could the clock spring be bad even though the horn still works? Could the cruise control switch on the steering wheel be bad? PLEASE HELP!!!!
