95 max slow to start
I have a 95 maxima that is slow starting when the gas tank reaches about 1/4 of a tank left or below when it's cold. After it's warmed up, no problem, or when gas tank is above 1/4 full. Any ideas? Thanks.

try this and tell me if it works....
turn the key to the position that turns the battery on, and the car beeps...keep it there for liek 5 seconds. then turn back to the off position. do this twice and see if your problem is solved. |

Re: 95 max slow to start
I'm resurrecting an old post as I have some new information. I'm still experiencing the same problem. I tried what "seanish4042" suggested and it fixed the problem. So what does this mean.
Also, with the recent "frickin" cold spell here in the Midwest, I've began to smell gas in my garage again. However, there is no noticable gas leaking on the ground. My father-in-law last winter notice some of my hoses were looking a little old and when he tighten some of the clamps, noticed they were as tight as they could be tighten. He suggested I change the hoses/clamps. Could these 2 problems be related? Any help would be appreciated. |

Re: 95 max slow to start
Typical leak in nissans is rusted filler tube(s) drivers side, rear.
All brittled hoses have to be changed... Pump is in the tank -and- the only affected entity at above/below 1/4. Take out and check... |
