lumbar adj. non-pwr seat
So does anyone know how to fix a broken (knob does not adj any more) the manual lumbar adjuster on a 99 blzr with manual seats ?
I suspect I'd have to take the covering off and dink around with it abit... Has anyone undone the fabric on the backrest and slid it off ? Trying to evaluate the "hassle-factor" -vs- leaving it alone..... Any ideas...??

Re: lumbar adj. non-pwr seat
I actually have run in the very same problem, the rod that connects to the handle broke off, and i think the only way to remove it is to totally remove the seat, i have not done this yet because, i have not have any time with it

You have to replace the assembly and cable they come as seperate units so you may just need the assembly) Simply pull the seat out of the car, unhook the seat cover (they're slotted so it's easy) Unscrew the mechanism (2 screws) and disconnect the cable. Replace in reverse.
