I just killed a Porsche...

I was going over the hill through the twisties (Crow Canyon Road) at about 50% when all of a sudden a pair of headlights comes out of nowhere and gets right on my ass. The road I'm on is only a 2 lane with a double yellow so this guy wasn't going anywhere. It was hard to tell from the rear view what kind of car it was but a couple times he got so close to my bumper his headlights were blocked out and I could tell it was definately a convertible. Anyways, the guy was being a total ass so I decided he would just have to suffer if he couldn't behave.

About halfway over the hill the road straightens out and there's about a 1/2 mile long passing lane. So naturally I'm going to try and fuck with this guy and not let him pass.

Once the passing lane starts I put my blinker on like I'm pulling over to allow him to go on by. Like a little impatient bitch he starts swerving back and forth from side to side waiting for an opening. Keep in mind that the whole time dow the canyon when he was on my ass we were doing probably 50-55mph even though the posted speed is 35mph...so it's not like he's been stuck behind Ms. Daisy or some shit.

So anyways once he gets an opening he makes a big scene about passing me and his passenger gives me the bird...from the passenger seat of a Porsche Boxter. Fuck that. Since magazine racing tells me I'm faster in almost every performance category I drop it into 3rd and...wsssssssssssssssssttttt...the 16g wakes up I start pulling right away. By the top of 3rd I'm about even with his rear bumper and by the middle of 4th I'm slowly passing him...waving ...as the passenger stares blankly at me.

With about a 1/4 mile left in the passing lane we're both doing about 120mph...so somebody is eventually gonna have to slow down because there's a 25mph turn coming up. Uh oh. Just before I was about to pump the brakes I see him let off. I'm guessing he was about 4 or 5 car lengths behind me when he hit the brakes. Once we got back to the twisties I was tempted to be a dick and go hella slow, but I was really adrenalized so I stretched the gap out some more. He apparently had seen enough. Once I got out of the canyon I waited at the first stoplight to see where he was. Like 2 or 3 minutes later he comes sauntering out of the canyon with his tail between his legs. Both driver and passenger stared straight ahead as they passed. Maybe they were skeered. Maybe they were embarassed. Maybe she was screaming at him for going so fast. I dunno. But that was some fun shit.

Thank you! thats the most exciting thing I've seen on this thread since the Matts made thier last video!
seriously though that was an awsome story, I respect the hell outa Porches but the Boxter owners really overesstimate themselves.
Nice kill.

Nice kill.
Great kill, he can’t even use the excuse "I would have beat him in the twistys." I love races where some beats someone in the turns... shows so much more skill. Mad props
Yea I love Porsches but that guy deserved it. What is it with Boxter owners? Have you ever noticed 75% of them are assclowns? Just the other day on my way to my friends house one was weaving in and out of traffic and cutting people off on 91.

yeah i've driven boxsters and they honestly are disappointingly slow. they pull just like 15 second cars. ( which they are ) the boxster S however is much sexier.

Re: Re: I just killed a Porsche...

The car felt very solid at high speeds...planted and responsive but not too twitchy. I took that 35mph turn at the end of the straight somewhere between 60-70mph (I drive this road back and forth every day) and the car felt like it could have done it at 80-90mph.

I was worried that if I hit the brakes he was gonna stay on the gas and try to squeeze by me and take the first turn at a high rate of speed. It was sorta like a game of chicken...who's gonna brake first to take turn #1. At 120mph a 4-5 car length lead can go away almost instantaneously if one person lets off the gas...much less hit the brakes. I knew I didn't want to get stuck behind this guy.

Nice kill, yeah ppl in Boxters I see generally seem to be big asses about their car...im guessing its cause they wanted a 911 but couldnt afford one so they overcompensate...I mean really, who buys a boxter? office execs who couldnt afford an M3 or 911 ect
