changing fuel filter?

i tried swapping my stock fuel filter to a z32s but somehow the hoses are realy realy tight. couldnt get them off. any suggestions?

Twist. Don't use pliers unless you have hose to spare or don't mind losing a couple inches off both sides. It sucks, I know. If anything, ditch those old fuel lines and run new ones. 5/16" ID.

yea... don't use the pliers on them directly.. it'll rip the rubber right off. LIke fanatic said, twisting would be ideal...

make sure you dump the fuel lines and release the pressure before you remove it... also keep a towel under the filter... the remaining fuel in the line will spill out when you remove it...

spray wd-40 on the joints

also take a little 90degree pick or such device that can lift up the hose a little bit where it slides off and spray wd-40 inside there to help lossen it up even more, let it sit for 30 seconds or so and take it off now.
