Trany Leak?
Well, after my car got its new transmition, Its been about 150 miles since I got it back and I noticed a small puddle forming under my civic today. And noticed it was leaking from where the trany meets the block, but thats right after I had driven it. I just checked on it again about 45 minutes later and it seems it now stopped. I read in my Haynes Manual that it could be possible over servicing of fluids. And I know my trany was fully lubed up when I got it installed by AAMCO, is this a common occurance for hondas? My engine is a B16A with the normal B16A trany on it, and information would be helpful, the car still runs great, I dont hear any sounds at all when driving, and believe me, I listen for them.

Okay, heres a small update. Ive been driving my car a little more, but I notice everytime now the same thing, so im pretty sure its not overservicing the tranny. It always leaks after a ride but stops shortly after. Now im guessing its possibly the seal that goes between the trany and the block, but could it be anything else before I start looking to get that seal replaced. Still as before theres no abnormal sounds, its just leaking a little in the same spot.

Re: Trany Leak?
it could either be yoru rear main seal or your tranny seal.
