Rattling/knocking in 93 Camry
There is an elusive sound that is in my engine. From the sound of it I would say that it is on the driver side of the car. Now I hear the sound sometimes when I am going uphill. WHere as other times I don't. I would describe the sound as a sort of rattle/knocking noise. That is the best I can say. Almost as if something were loose. I hear it sometimes (less than 25%) when going up steeper hills. or when I am really hitting the gas (about 20%). The sporadic nature is what is really getting to me. Any help at all would be so appreciated.

Re: Rattling/knocking in 93 Camry
Probably pinging. If it is, higher octane gas should solve the problem. Do you have a "Check Engine" light on your dashboard showing?
Try putting a top end cleaner in your intake like from GM or SeaFoam.
