warning lights and occasional starting problem

Hi,

My clio (2002 plate expression+ 1.2) has just started, as of today, to display a warning light telling me that theirs something wrong with the heater coils (deisel only warning light). Problem is that my cars a petrol engine not deisel so what the hell is going on?

I have also very occasionally have a problem with starting the car, when i turn the key their is a clicking sound but the engine doesnt turn over.

Also, sometimes when i start it and it does start, if I immediatley leave it to idle the engine cuts out.

Its only done 15k miles in 3 years so i surely shouldnt be having problems like this, should I just cut my losses and burn the damn thing?
