But I know my window tint is illegal, so I am not going to complain.

Crap like this pisses me off. No offence here to law-enforcement officials meant here, but did the cop pull you over just to ticket you for having too much tint? Maybe it is technically "illegal" but what about the hundreds of other laws that go un-enforced, or when officers look the other way. I could go into detail, but I think ppl know what I mean. Cops should be out stopping real crimes like theft, murder, rape, etc....

Damn, that does suck. I know Texas has pretty strict tinted window laws as well. Sorry man

Well, where I was traveling, there is a lot of drug running. So, here comes a nice looking car, lowered, rims, dark windows. I guess I fit the profile. But this was the first ticket I have had for tint in the three years I have owned the car. But I knew it was illegal, so I took the chance. It is 10% tint, and state law is like 52%

Strange thing here in NM. Only one of the countys have tint regs...every where else there is not....go figure...bummer on the ticket tho...

That really sucks. I think in Tennessee anything under 35% is illegal. I have friends who have 20%, and they haven't gotten pulled over. It is also illegal to have full mirror-tint on a window. You can only have half of the window covered.
