Ecm ?
Anyone hear that an exact ECM must be the replacement? I had the ECM go bad. Mechanic found one for $50. I know that seemed to good to be true. He tells me that mine was equiped for On-Star and a few other thing, that I dont even have on my vehicle and the replacement computer would not work. Sound right? DJBates

It depends! Chrysler vehicles are strange animals as some models must have specific ECM's for the year and model. Others can be used with ECM's from various years. The 3.8's are the most forgiving and can use models from various years although it appears the 03's must have computers from 03's or later models. I hope this answers the question.
