Got My Stereo System Hooked Up Hell Yeah
I just got my new stereo system hooked up and it sounds nice. i've got the custom camaro box with 2 10"infiniti 1000w subs, 2 300w tweeters,1 3000 w boss amp, i don't know the other size speakers but i got them all changed out and it shakes my car like crazy it sounds so clear and good. i got it hooked up for 550.00 with a 1 year warranty. it's so loud i can't even hear my exhaust anymore

you got all that stuff for $550 or you paid $550 to have it installed?
an lt1 makes a very nice harmony with some boom doesn't it. i have a JL Audio W3 15" in a custom box i built that is completely concealed within the trunk. with a 300 watt alpine amp, kenwood excelon reciever pushing 50x4 to 4 panasonic 6" speakers and 2 tweets, and SIRIUS satellite radio. my shit hits so deep and low that it makes my nose itch, i had a tassle on my rear view mirror that would shake like it was earthquaking outside. the shit knocks pictures off the wall in my house when i blast out in the garage. JL W3's are built for low wattage so that shit is crazy loud, so i know what you mean about not being able to hear your exhaust. nice hookup man

All that sound in a camaro...The worst I have seen when this dude removed his back seats to put a wall of 5 15's. either way you both will be deaf in due time trust me I know.. MTX is the best audio out there

what's wrong with that much sound in a camaro, that's like saying there's too much hp/tq, just because you have that much power doens't mean your going to use it all the time buddy

JL isn't the best. Spend a few minutes in any car audio forum and you will know this. I guarantee my 1 15" hits much harder and lower than either of your setups.

it depends on what you are talking about by saying "best". for the money and the space and durability factors, JL Audio rules all. Mtx used to be straight up garbage like walmart shit, it has come along way now. there are definately speakers that hit harder ex: square kicker solo barics, cerwin vega strokers and probably a lot more, im not up on all the latest shit. all i know is that for a 10" speaker nothing can fuck with a w7 or a new w6.
