Question Service Engine Light

Hi everyone,

I own a 2000 Alero and have now a little over 100000 Km on it, regular maintanence was done...everyone knows the problem with the Bearings...I had it so far 3 times, but the other issue what I have now, is that, when the engine is cold and shift from 3rd to 4th at around 55 Kmh the SES light comes on and goes off after a few seconds, I will get a service done next week and get the sparkplugs changed...etc, my question is, could this be the issue with the sparkplug or could it be something else?

thanks

Re: Service Engine Light

To be honest, I would guess a transmission issue -- the SES light can go off if there is an issue with the trans.
