Hi everyone,
I own a 2000 Alero and have now a little over 100000 Km on it, regular maintanence was done...everyone knows the problem with the Bearings...I had it so far 3 times, but the other issue what I have now, is that, when the engine is cold and shift from 3rd to 4th at around 55 Kmh the SES light comes on and goes off after a few seconds, I will get a service done next week and get the sparkplugs changed...etc, my question is, could this be the issue with the sparkplug or could it be something else? thanks |

Re: Service Engine Light
To be honest, I would guess a transmission issue -- the SES light can go off if there is an issue with the trans.

Trac off light too?
Buddy of mne had this problem and it turned out to be one of the engine coils. |
