Angry stock H emblem removal

Hey, Ive heard of people putting colored vinyl behind their emblems so they have a colored backround. I wanna do that, but my only problem is I drive an 88 accord and the emblems or at least the front one is held on with rubber nob-like things and they're way the hell up into the hood of the car. So im wondering how to take that emblem off withough screwing it up. And also how do you take the rear emblem off? I know someone who used vinyl for the background and ive been asking around at home appliance places but when I ask they always look at me like im... ... or something so where do you get the stuff from too? Thanks alot for your time.

you can take the emblems off with dental floss, just gently floss in there until they come off.

Most Fabric stores will have Vinyl for sale. as for the emblems... a knife works easy (but you'll probably scratch the paint.)

will the dental floss work even though theres those 2 huge rubber knobs on it? Wouldn't the dental floss only work if its just stuck on there?

I do it all the time. You just have to carefully pry it out. And for the little rubber seals, just work on it, it will eventually come off. A good way a found is to pry a side then rotating it and prying. But I can tell you that my fingers were all scratched for a week. :P

Horn out.

i didn't buy the colored emblems cause theyre only held onto the car with that 2-sided tape. And also around here I've heard of people stealing them and stuff an' my friend just bought a pair and his got stollen in the matter of a week. Also, I only had to pay 2 dollars for doing it myself
