Re: potential
i smell an SRT4 swap. it will bolt right in, and double the power you have in that SE. it will work with your tranny too. just get the complete motor with intercooler, and computer. plug it in and your done.

Re: potential
the swap is easy, but i dont know about a site that has that information readily available. try to do a search on srtforums.com, one or 2 guys there have base model neons with sartie powerplants. or get ahold of darrel cox racing. he builds top notch neons. he can give you directions.
overall, though, the install is cake. the motor is the same external block, so everything bolts together nicely. the computer is in the same place, so it plugs in nicely. if you want to keep your auto tranny though, you will have to keep your stock computer and get a fuel/air controller or piggy back computer to control everything. |

Re: potential
the sentry key is only required if you are using the stock srt computer. if you want to keep your auto tranny, you will have to use your factory computer and a fuel/air controler. in which case you dont need it to worry about the key. if you do want to swap to a manual tranny, just get the stage 1/2/3 computer upgrade and you dont need the key

Re: potential
cool alot of useful info but i got a problem with my car now the damn thing wouldnt shift out of first the other day. out of no where the engine light came on the mph gauge went wack and the tranny wouldnt shift. i checked the fluids and were fine im guessin maybe the the throttle cable for the passing gear, or the shift linkage itself.
