(UNITED STATES ONLY)......CNC SHOPS CHARGE OVER $250.00 FOR SOMETHING SIMILAR..I put together a hood prop kit for my car. I was not impressed at all with the other options out there, or their price for what you got. I had originally made it just for me, but I have others interested so I thought why not.

The brackets are made of 3/16" steel, that is formed not welded. The ball studs are threaded in for easy replacement if need be. The coating is a high solids industrial coating that can be painted to match your car. The strut rods and sockets are black coated steel. The balls are bright zinc finished. The struts are very high quality.

THIS KIT INCLUDES EVERYTHING TO CONVERT YOUR CURRENT PROP TO NEW GAS SPRING LIFTS (STRUTS)... ONLY HIGH QUALITY PARTS ARE USED.... KIT INCLUDES: 2 BRAND NEW GAS SPRINGS(STRUTS), 2 CUSTOM MACHINED BRACKETS TO FIT YOUR SPECIFIC VEHICLE MAKE/MODEL/YEAR, AND ALL HARDWARE TO INSTALL THE NEW PROPS.. VERY EASY INSTALLATION TAKES ONLY ABOUT 15-20 MINUTES... ANY ONE CAN DO IT...Installation is easy. Just remove the bolts one at a time on the hinge and slip under the bracket. Remove one bolt from the fender, drill and tap the hole (both drill bit and tap are provided in the kit) and screw in the ball stud. Snap in the struts cups and your done. Shouldn't take more than 15-20 min tops.
