Re: dash

yea i dont know. i have a good dash thats not cracked one bit in my coupe. I try to keep it saturated and not in direct sun light all day. My hatch dash on the other hand seemed to have cracked in the winter time on the passenger side. Sux. There was 2 cracks above the gage clusters on the driver side but those arnt as noticeable as the passenger side split.

im going to try to find some NISMO windsheild reflector thingys. you know those big gay things that unfold and you set across your windshield. I was going to go up the dealership to see if anything like that was made or not. If not i guess ill have to go up to gaymart and purchase a fugly one.

Re: dash

yeah i got the deflector thing. helps my car from getting hot as hell in this florida sun. i hope it helps with preventing cracking.

i dont want to use armoral cause i heard if you stop using it it will cause it to dry up and crack even faster.

Re: dash

i used armoral and it was fine. actually if i didnt have any armoral i used windex, or this orange citrus stuff from wally-world (wal-mart). but if you do use armoral use the cloth wipe things. the ones that basically are wet wipes but armoral, those worked fine for me an my dash never cracked, i even had 2 other dashes jus layin around that i would wash up with em jus to make sure they didnt crack. but its up to you

Re: dash

Well maybe the dealer could find you a new one, or just look around on forums for people who are parting out their car.

Re: dash

yea thats what i use is the armorall whipes. I try to hit it once a week with it. Keep it saturated. And dont stop using them, i mean why would you after you start?? Obviously you seem to care about the car so why would you stop anyways. Plus there's nothing better than a nice black shiny dash. I love it when i first wipe all the dust and shit off it and it shines. Makes the car look new agian....well from the inside lol. Once you look at the body your like yep its 12 years old lol.
