Looking for a new car...

Hey

Im 18 years old and have been driving for about 2 years now. My current car is a 1991 Chevy lumina, nothing major is really wrong with it or anything, but I want to upgrade to a newer, better car. I dont mean brand new but like 1999 or newer. There are a lot of cars I have been considering lately like Jetta's, BMW 318i and 328i's, Mazda3, and there are a few other cars I have also been considering, and I was wondering if you guys could maybe help me make up my mind, or give me some other good cars to consider. Im looking for a car that will get alright gas mileage, under $15k, I would like it to be RWD but thats not a must, needs to be able to set atleast 4 people, but it can be a coupe or sedan.
Any suggestions?

The mazda 3 is a real good car from what Ive heard and it looks pretty good too. Not sure on its gas milage though. Also ium sure you could get a very good acord or civic for that price as well and those fill the bill on all practicality options.

BMW 325i or 328i are both great cars. Avoid the 318i. Only other car that you mentioned that I would consider would be a VW Jetta GLI, if you can get one in your price range, but the BMW 3-series is still the better car.

Thanks for the advice guys, I think I am either going to go with a BMW 328i, or a Jetta VR6. Not that I have anything against honda's Planet_Keeper, but I would rather not have a car that you see every 2 seconds, atleast around here, a lot of people have accords and civics, but I dont see too many jetta's or 328's. Probably over the next month or so, Ill go and test drive the cars I mentioned, and Ill make a post with pics showing you what car I got.

Re: Looking for a new car...

BMWs are a lot to maintain

Jettas are always good
DSM cars are very easy to work on and maintain though
