Post Gone back to Honda....

Well i finally purchased me a '98 civic dx sedan. I got a good deal on it about 7200 with 84k miles on it. I know its not a 4th gen but hey i need something newer. Im planning to do a k swap ...really soon I'm still searching for a type s motor but i'm lookin for the best deal. I'm not goin to spend 5g's on one. I might be goin to the boneyards hoping to get lucky.

GL with it. I'm sure you'll have tons of fun with OBDII and OBDIIb wiring issues...

Re: Gone back to Honda....

Just read that article from HybridRacing. See what I wrote. I'd find a wrecked TSX and snatch that engine/tranny... no lsd but with 10.5:1 cr and 2.4L it would seem safer than running 11.0:1 cr or higher from the Type-S or 11.5:1 Type-R, especially out where you're at in AZ with 91 octane.

Yeh i'm still in AZ of course. I would love to meet you guys! I know someday i will but work is taking away lots of my social time. So your man can swap an RSX motor in a civic? I would love for him to do it but its goin to be like end of summer for me to get the stuff HOPEFULLY!
