Re: 011R listed for Sale

He seems to have money problems. These cars is (was) his also:

Bugatti EB110 I thought it was a Dauer EB110
Mercedes CLK-GTR
Dauer 962
There's also a Ferrari F50 for sale, but that doesn't have to be his.

Re: 011R listed for Sale

Several things interest me.
Why KS Autohandel? it's not like it's a particularly renowned dealership.
How did they decide what the asking price for the cars would be
I could be wrong but I'm sure the price of the green one has gone up over the last few months

As for the price of the green one - its becoming somewhat rare to find an original McLaren F1 these days, and I happen to think that's a beautiful combination. I'd say the price is justified - I just don't have that much on me right now or the deal would be done.

Re: 011R listed for Sale

Other than the F1s, the other cars look tempting. It's a bit sad because even if I had the money I wouldn't be able to get one due to the lack of cabin space. How does anybody taller than 5'5" manage to fit in a 962?

That green is the same green of my parent's Dodge Caravan...I dunno about you but I would immediately have it repainted

No repaint for me. I happen to think that green is one of the better colors on the F1. This car seems to show more of its color that XP5 or 56XPGT does too.

I think the only thing that would be changed are the shifter and ebrake handle.

To you the car says "British Racing Green" while to me it brings back memories of a "piece of junk ten year old minivan."

I think that's the difference =)

I used BRG as a convenient example, so if you really want to nitpick I'll revise my statement to read:

To you the car says "NOT QUITE British Racing Green" while to me it brings back memories of a "piece of junk ten year old minivan."

Re: 011R listed for Sale

I recieved an email from someone saying they inquired about the cars. The road car is not for sale and 011R has some shady history as the street conversion was not completely done by mclaren
