Replacement brake rotor questions

I'm tired of the rotor warping/turning/warping again sooner game with my 97 GC. I'm thinking of going to the slotted/drilled aftermarket rotor route, and I'm wondering if anyone else who has gone this way before could offer any suggestions about brands and suppliers. Also, if there is any feedback on any problems experienced such as accelerated pad wear, etc.
I see on eBay that there are quite a few dealers who sell rotors. Anyone have experience (good or bad) with getting rotors off eBay? Am I better off trying to find a local supplier, and what might be the price difference.

Thanks in advance for any answers.

Try any autoparts stores in your area, rotors are cheap. Before putting the rotors on the vehicle, put them on a brake lathe and check them for warpness.New rotors can be warped.I have seen new rotors badly warped that had to be sent back for that reason. It is real easy, put rotors on brake lathe and turn on.If you see they are straight, not warped and put on vehicle. If there is any wavyness, warped and turn the rotors

how much offroading do you do if you do quite a bit then slotted/drilled rotors are not for you. but if you really need them power slot is a good brand but they are for all out racing. if you go with a full powerslot brake system even with abs you will stop on a dime. the reason slotted/drilled rotors are'nt good for off roading is because dirt and grit gets up in there a chews away your rotor. found out the hard way.

No offroading done - this one is a "pavement princess" I'm afraid. I just need to get some rotors that won't warp yet won't chew up my pads too fast. I'm not looking to mod my brakes - just keep them stock except for the rotors.
Thanks for the info.
