radio lock

Hey gang...

Radio on my 2001 is locked. I tried the suggestion/steps from previous threads, but they did not work.

When you contact the 800 number at GM for a new unlock code, it's a four digit number. You can only enter a THREE digit number on my stereo.

NEVER MIND!

I figured it out...

I only THOUGHT that I could enter a three digit code because when you begin to enter the code there are only three zeros (000) that display.

You can press the HOUR button and create the FIRST two digits of the four digit number, and then you can press the minute button to enter the LAST two digits of the four digit number.

Anyway, the procedure works like a charm.
