Tps

If you take the tps off to check it do you have to adjust it before putting it back on?

You adjust it when you put it back on. A repair manual will tell you exactly how to adjust it. It requires feeler gauges and an ohm-meter. If it's not dead-on, your car will buck, stall, and just drive really annoying.

Re: Tps

I've read that you have to adjust them when putting them on. I thought that was when they were new. I guess what I'm asking is if I took mine off to look at it would it cause it to get out of adjustment? My neighbor has one that we were going to try on my car and I was just going to put his on and take it off if it didn't work. Will I have to adjust mine when I put mine back on again. I thought these were just something that plugged in.
